My aunt asked me to take some fall photographs for her. After narrowing down the photographs, these are the ones I believed turned out best:

Fairgrounds
I could NOT resist myself! The view from the ferris wheel was too nice to pass up. I liked all of the lights that the landscape had, but I loved how the black and white photograph made the scene seem old. I can never pass up a good black and white opportunity!
Painting
Art and I were able to celebrate the life of his brother, Charles, by doing what he loved to do...paint. This is a photograph of our paintings of a fall tree. I think they turned out pretty good for our first try at it! We have another "masterpiece" in progress. Can't wait to show it!
Tee Time
Recently I have picked up the sport of golf...and it is more fun than one might think. I also love to photograph the small aspects of this sport. The paying attention to the tiny details are what makes a player great; and, the same is true when it comes to a photograph. I love the tiny details of golf!
Pumpkin Patch
The following photograph was taken at a pumpkin patch off Goodman Road in Mississippi. It was a rather small patch, but it had the most beautiful colors! I just could not resist myself! Happy Fall Y'all!
Not too shabby for the ole iPhone...
Halloween
I LOVE Halloween! I love just about everything about it. We carved pumpkins, dressed up, had a party, and even trick-or-treated this year. Here are a couple of our Halloween activities:
This was suppose to be Jack Sparrow, but it looks more like just a plain ole pirate...
We decorated the apartment with glowsticks and various other decorations! This was my favorite Halloween photo of all of them!
Maggie Scott
What blog would be complete without a photo of a cute baby? Well here it is...this is my niece. She was six weeks premature, but now she is 9 months old and a bundle of energy! This was taken right before she got to go home from the hospital. My how she has grown!!!
Light
For some reason, light really intrigues me. Whether it be the different angles that it shines, the vastness/scarceness of the light, or even the emotion that it evokes from the viewer. I experimented with different ways to photograph light. With a little altering in Illustrator, I captured light in a "wavy" state.
Graduation Invitation
My cousin, Kayla, recently graduated from high school. I asked my aunt if I could create her an invitation that would scream "Kayla". I took the school colors into consideration, and her edgy still. This is how it turned out:
Love is...
One of my favorite passages in the Bible is found in 1 Corinthians 13. This is where love is truly defined, where the essence of the definition of love can be found. Love is not just a feeling or emotion, it is a way of life and attitude.
Free Birds
Like it says in my bio, I really like taking the ordinary and mundane and making it beautiful. I took some images of birds and a cages and pulled them apart. In order to show continuity throughout this image, I stuck with one color, purple. The various shades of purple add depth to the image while still allowing it to be aesthetically pleasing.
Art and Brooke
I really love to look at the lines that make up a photograph. I enjoy taking the line segments and recreating the image to form a new one. I think that the results are very interesting. Take a look...
Save the Date
I have been working on creating a save the date card for two of my friends. Here are two of the ideas. These are works in progress, but I like them so far. My favorite by far is the gray and yellow one. I am really learning to appreciate layering thanks to Adobe Illustrator!
Duct Launch
I like to make the "ugly" aspect of life more beautiful. I took this photograph while at work. It's actually spiral ductwork that has the sun's reflections. Even duct can be beautiful, you just have to look and appreciate.
